'Shareefa acted as a lead artist facilitator on The WOW Foundation's WOWsers: Creative Careers project in 2022-23, funded by Lambeth Elevate and in partnership with Brixton Youth Theatre. Shareefa was the perfect artist to collaborate with on this programme. Through inspiring readings, engaging workshops and incredible 1-2-1 sessions Shareefa supported the young people to create spoken word pieces completely unique to them which they both recorded in a studio towards films they created, as well as performed live at the Southbank Centre as part of WOW London 2023.

Shareefa expertly navigates the individual needs of young people, whilst nurturing a continued sense of community between them. The work she helped them to produce is staggeringly brilliant, and Shareefa supported the young people to overcome multiple barriers to get to a point of success. She is a supremely talented, caring, inspiring and reliable practitioner, I would work with Shareefa again in a heartbeat. '
